We had dinner at Fox's on their second day open for the season. Full house but our server was excellent and our food came out pretty quickly. Oceanfront dining at its best. The upper floor wasn't open due to staffing during our visit but I imagine it would be lovely. The lobster roll was perfect and the blueberry lemonade was a wonderful accompaniment. Don't forget the ice cream a blueberry pie for dessert - we shared one and enjoyed every bite. Plenty of parking and off the main drag. This restaurant is right on the water and has lots of windows, so you can enjoy the view. We were seated just before a group of 15 came in. Despite the sudden onslaught of customers, our server was still attentive, efficient, and very pleasant. I had the steamers and lobster stew. The stew was really quite good with a ton of large pieces of lobster in it. Although a bit on the expensive side, the stew did include (in my estimation) a full lobster (or close to), so I feel it was totally reasonably priced and worth it. My husband had the crab cakes. He said they were good, but they weren't filled with lump crab meet, but more of a ground up style. He said it was tasty, but a little bit disappointing because it wasn't quite what he expected - but it was a minor disappointment. It was dark when we left the restaurant, so we walked a short ways up the hill to view Nubble Light all lit up - and to look up at the sky full of stars. Fox’s Lobster Pound is my absolute favorite place to stop every time I visit Maine. It’s become a yearly tradition, and it never disappoints. The lobster here is incredible. I always go for the laszy man lobster with butter, and it’s perfectly cooked and full of flavor every single time. The crazy lobster pie is also a must-try rich, indulgent, and totally worth it. The desserts are just as memorable. The banana cream pie is truly out of this world, and the blueberry pie is another standout fresh, classic, and delicious. One thing I would skip, though, is the steamers. They were a bit pricey for the portion size and didn’t quite live up to the rest of the meal. What really makes this place special, beyond the food, is the setting and the people. The view of the ocean is beautiful, and seeing the Nubble Lighthouse nearby makes the experience even more magical. Everyone who works there is so nice friendly, welcoming, and genuinely makes you feel at home. Oh, and don’t leave without trying a frozen piña colada. It is the perfect refreshing treat to go with the coastal atmosphere. I look forward to coming back every year!

I've eaten here many times. I wish they were open year round as I love it so much. I will add more pictures as I find them. Their lazy man's lobster is my favorite - I always start with the lobster bisque and a rum punch or bloody mary. Their corn on the cob is so delicious and I love the lobster meat soaked in butter. YUM. They have great ice cream and I always get a large blueberry lemonade to go. Great staff, attentive but not overly so.

This place checks all the boxes.  We caught them on the last day of the season.  Not too crowded but was busy.  Setting and atmosphere was great.  Food was outstanding.  Service was spot on. The lobster roll was awesome. I also got a Maine blueberry muffin which was amazing!
